November 26 2014 - I´m here safe and sound!

Hello!  I am alive, and made it to the Mexico MTC (Mission Training Center) without any trouble.  Spanish keyboards are strange.  In security, they pulled me out of the main line and had me go through a line where I didn't have to take off my shoes or jacket, so I got through a lot faster. Cybill (friend from church/high school that is going to the Mexico MTC too) came to the gate a little while after I did and had a pretty smooth flight to Houston.  We were the first missionaries that made it to our next gate, but soon enough more and more missionaries kept popping up.  We had I think, 22 missionaries on the flight to Mexico City.  6 sisters and 16 elders.  In that group we had people going all over the place for their missions.  A lot of state side and a lot going to different places in Mexico.

We all got directed by some MTC people and got on a big yellow bus that drove us to the MTC. The drive seemed like an hour and the streets and the traffic are insane.  There are cars everywhere and lots of little food tents and shops along the streets.  We even drove by a Walmart.  When we got to the MTC, we had an orientation and this is one of the stops of the orientation where we get to email our parents.  I met my companion, his name is Elder Linsenmann.  He is from somewhere in Idaho, He said he was an hour from Spokane Wa.  He is also going to the Honduras Comayaguela Mission, so I will probably see him a lot after we leave the MTC.

My P-day is going to be on Tuesdays, so you should expect to get an email from me on that day.  We got our nametags! Fun! I am also in the same district as Cybill, so that´s pretty cool.  So I think we will be kinda celebrating thanksgiving here, we have a thanksgiving devotional scheduled for tomorrow, but who knows about the food.  I am not sure how much time i have left, so I should probably end my email here.  I love you so much!
